CYCLE SAFETY DAY

Thanks to the help of Solid Rock Cycles and Woodhill Primary School, local youngsters had the chance to have their bicycle given a spring service.

Local Community Police were in attendance - on their bikes of course.

CLEAN UP THE WORLD

September 2007 and on one rainy Sunday, local residents and pupils from Woodhill Primary School joined forces to help clean up the area.

The event was part of a world wide event organised by the United Nations.

It is planned to repeat and expand this event in 2008.

BRIGGS IN BLOOM 2007

With the help and assistance of East Dunbartonshire Council, St Helens, Woodhill, Wester Cleddens PS and Cleddens Childcare, we planted 5,000 daffodil bulbs.

 BRIGGS IN BLOOM 2008

Thanks to help from pupils at Bishopbriggs Academy the Group were able to plant some 3,000 bulbs at three locations across Woodhill.  Rain did not dampen the spirits of those taking part.  The Group used the event to present a cheque for £100 to Marie Curie's BIG BUILD.

 CHRISTMAS 2008

The Group's very own Santa Claus visited over 40 children on Christmas Eve with a small gift.  The response from the children and their families was incredible.
