Over 40 children were visited by the Woodhill Residents' Group Santa Claus on Christmas Eve 2008.  The repsonse from not just the children but their friends and neighbours was incredible.

Here are some of the comments we received...

• My daughter received a visit from Santa on Christmas Eve and I wanted to thank the Woodhill Residents Group for organising it. I hadn't said anything to her so it was a complete surprise and having been suspicious of the Santas she had met at Christmas parties and various Christmas Fayres, she was quite convinced he was the real deal. I am sure it would have been one of the main topics of conversation for her today now she is back at school. Please pass on my thanks and appreciation to Santa and all his helpers at the Woodhill Residents Group.

• Sorry to take so long to get in touch but I'm just back at work today but just a quick email to say thank for the lovely Santa who visited our house on Christmas Eve my two boys were just thrilled to bits and talked about it all holidays

• Thank you very much the kids loved it!

• Hi, I have emailed a thank you note to the Kirky herald. Thank you again it was very much appreciated.

• Thank you so much for our visit on Christmas Eve! It was fantastic and the kids are still telling anyone who will listen about it.

• What a wonderful idea and fantastic experience for the kids. Our youngest is still telling everyone that Santa brought her "sweeties" on Christmas Eve. Thanks to all who made this possible, with special thanks to Santa and his helper.

• Hi, just a quick email to say thank you so much for organising Santa's visit, the kids absolutely loved it. Many thanks for all your hard work arranging the Santa visit. It was not only a very special treat for my daughter but also to me and my wife and grandparents.

• Thanks for the lovely stocking and sweets. I’m sorry I missed you but I got tickets at the last minute for a Panto in town. The boys very much appreciated your visit and very disappointed they missed you. It is a lovely idea and I hope you continue your great work for the community.

• THANK YOU SANTA YOU MADE TWO LITTLE GIRLS VERY HAPPY!
